building again

John has started building again. This time he is building on the main campus, the SSE house, where we host the groups. The bottom picture is of the site where he has started, obviously this is pre-construction. I will keep you up to date as this project gets more and more underway.

A few things to note is that it is rainy season here, which means every afternoon almost it rains. I am sure you can imagine how this slows down the process, especially when you are using manual labor and no machines.

That process is similar to MX, except these hard workers are half women and they do the carrying of material, on their heads.... interesting that the women have the hard way to go in this work.

Bummer, I didn't put any pictures in of the ladies carrying the concrete buckets on their heads, but I will get one next time. I have to go because we are taking the kids from OLA swimming and for lunch. I will post on that later and we will have another posting of the construction, and I promise I will put some more pizazz in it..... but know that John is doing a great job and the building is being constructed whether it rains or shines.
